Course Structure
PreDAC is a 216 hours course consisting of six modules.
The PreDAC is also available with 120 hours course consisting of
four modules.
Eligibility
The candidate should have completed 10+2 or 10+3 years of formal education
Candidates who wish to appear for the CET of DAC should fulfill the eligibility criteria for the DAC course.
Fees
PreDAC Course fees for 216 hrs is Rs 7000/- and fees for short PreDAC course of 120 hrs is Rs
4500/-.
Computing Facilities
Theory and practical sessions will be conducted on alternate days. Students will be given 2 hours of computer time during the lab sessions on a dedicated client node to be shared by a pair of students.

The specifications given above are indicative of the computing setups that exist at the various
ATCs. There may be minor variations at individual locations.
Admission Procedure
The interested candidate may contact to respective training centers
of C-DAC. He has to send the Demand Draft in favour of "CDAC, ACTS",
payable at Pune.
Evaluation Methodology
The Evaluation is a continuing and critical part of the PreDAC Course.
In order to ensure that a student is making regular progress and is completing the course requirements on schedule, it is necessary to evaluate the student's progress regularly throughout the duration of the course.
While a comprehensive theory examination will be conducted only at the end of the course, a continuing assessment of the students may be conducted by evaluating the laboratory assignments on a regular basis.
The evaluation will be conducted as follows :

Students who successfully score at least 40% marks in both the Laboratory Evaluation as well as Theory Examination will be awarded the certificate of "Foundations of programming using C" with placement in the appropriate grade as per the Grading Scale given below :
