FILLING APPLICATION FORM

a. Candidate needs to register and fill online Application Form at http://acts.cdac.in     (recommended).
b. Candidate is required to select course DACA while filling in the application     form.
c. Candidate will enter the details of the DD of Registration fees of Rs.350/- for online     and DD of Rs.500/- for manual application form to be send to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune.
d. Last date for filling Application Form for CET # 1: May 27, 2008
    CET # 2: June 24, 2008

COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) DATE FOR DACA : Saturday, May 31, 2008 and Saturday, June 28, 2008.

CANDIDATE NEED TO CARRY THE VALID ADMIT CARD FOR APPEARING FOR THE CET

Extract of Admission Process : August 2008 batch of Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA) candidate must read the “Fee Refund Policy” displayed in eBrochure on our web site, before selecting the centre to undergo stage II of the CET process for DACA course.

DACA CET RESULT: July 04, 2008 AT 1900 HRS
The Score of the CET is valid for the two consecutive batches
(i.e. for DACA August 2008 batch as well as February 2009 batch.) SELECTION OF COURSE AS WELL AS CENTRE TO UNDERGO STAGE II OF THE CET PROCESS

1. Visit our website http://acts.cdac.in. Please login using your Registration ID and     Password.
2. CET Result (Percentile Score): Please note your Percentile Score and     Download / Print your "CET - Score Card"
3. Along with CET-Score Card, Centre-Wise Cut-off Percentile will be shown for your     reference only.
4. Please note the Cut-off Percentile and Period mentioned on
    "CET Score Card"during which you must login again and select the centre for     undergoing Stage II of the selection Process for August 2008 batch of DACA.

Last Date of payment of Rs.2,500 /- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) as first Installment for DACA Course

You are requested first to update the DD details of Rs.2,500/- on our web site & dispatch the DD to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune towards the first installment of fees on or before 1700 Hrs. on July 11, 2008. Candidate cannot be able to select his/her choice of center for stage II unless until the payment is received to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune before the last date mentioned above.
Note: Send DD of Rs 2,500/- by Speed Post or Courier only to C-DAC, ACTS, 12,Thube Park, Shivaji Nagar, Pune-5.

1. Please visit ACTS website http://acts.cdac.in and login using your Registration
    ID and Password.
2. Based on your percentile score you will be displayed the List of Centres where you     can complete DACA course. This is for you to go through the Stage II of selection     process and subsequently to undergo DACA course.
3. The centre selection facility will be available in decreasing order of percentile on     “First-Come-First-Served” basis
4. Thus, you’ll be short listed for stage II at the centre of your choice. You will be     able to choose only one centre for stage II. Once you select the centre no     change in the same will be allowed under any circumstances whatsoever.

5. After confirmation of the centre, you should download and print the "Invitation
    for appearing for Stage II" and the instructions sheet.
6. Please book your journey tickets in advance to avoid last minute
    rush / discomfort to travel to the location of the centre where you will be
    appearing for Stage II of the selection process.

Stage II From on July 28, 2008 to August 01, 2008

1. Please go through the instruction sheet attached to the Invitation Letter for
    Stage II carefully.
2. Appear for stage II as per the Invitation Letter and the instructions sheet
     attached to the same.
3. After stage II you will be either getting offer of confirmed admission or
    waitlisted for that centre.

Waitlist Declaration
C-DAC shall process the waitlist and offer admission based on seats available at individual centre based on percentile score.

Last Date of payment of Rs. 41,500 /- by a DD

For Shortlisted Candidates after Stage II : on or before 1700 hrs on August 18, 2008

Course Commencement : August 25, 2008

Course Conclusion : February 14, 2009
