Admission Process for August 2008 batch of Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC)
and Diploma in Wireless and Mobile Computing (WiMC) course.
(Candidate must read the “Rules for Refund of Course Fees ” displayed on our web site)

APPLICATION FORM IS COMMON FOR DAC AND WiMC COURSE

1. Candidate will Register online and then fill online Application Form..
2. Candidate is not required to select the course (DAC / WiMC) while filling in the     application form.
3. Based on the eligibility candidate will be shown the name(s) of the courses for     which is eligible for admission.
4. After showing the list of course(s), system will get the inclination of the candidate      for getting admission to a particular course.
5. Candidate will enter the details of the DD of Registration fees of Rs.350/- for online      and DD of Rs.500/- for manual application form to be send to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune.
6. After receipt of the Registration fees at ACTS Pune, candidate needs to select CITY     for appearing for the CET.
7. Based on the seats available at a particular centre on particular Date and slot, the     Date, Centre and Slot shall be allocated to the candidate during May 17, 2008 to     May 20, 2008 for CET # 1 and June 21, 2008 to June 24, 2008 for CET # 2.
8. Candidate can print their admit card using login to ACTS web site after May 13,     2008 for CET #1 and June 17, 2008 for CET # 2.

CET RESULT : July 01, 2008 AT 1300 HRS The Score of the CET is valid for the two consecutive batches (i.e. for DAC/WiMC August 2008 batch as well as February 2009 batch.).

2. CET Result (Percentile Score): Please note your Percentile Score and
     download/print your “CET - Score Card”
3. Along with CET-Score Card, list of centres available based on your percentile will      be shown to you for your reference.
4. Please note the Period mentioned on “CET Score Card” during which you must login     again and select the centre as well as Course (DAC/WiMC) for undergoing Stage II     & III of the selection Process for August 2008 batch.

Last Date of payment of Rs.2,500 /- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) as first Installment of course fees

You are requested first to update the DD details of Rs.2,500/- on our web site & dispatch the DD to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune towards the first installment of fees on or before 1700 Hrs. on July 05, 2008. Candidate cannot be able to select his/her choice of center for stage II & III unless until the payment is received to C-DAC, ACTS, Pune before the last date mentioned above.
Note: Send DD of Rs .2,500 by Speed Post or Courier only to C-DAC, ACTS, 12,Thube Park, Shivaji Nagar, Pune-5.

SELECT THE COURSE AND CENTRE OF YOUR CHOICE FOR STAGE II & III Facility available on website From 09:00:00 on July 08, 2008 to 17:59:59 on July 12, 2008 (For your date & time check your “CET Score Card”)

1. Date and time slot will be made available to candidate as per percentile to select      the course and centre for appearing for Stage II & III.
2. Please visit ACTS website http://acts.cdac.in and login using your Registration ID     and Password
3. Based on your percentile score you will be displayed the List of Centres where you      can complete DAC/WiMC course. This is for you to go through the Stage II and III     of selection process and subsequently to undergo DAC/WiMC course.
4. The centre selection facility will be available in decreasing order of percentile on     “First-Come-First-Served” basis.
5. Thus, you’ll be short listed for stage II & III at the centre of your choice. You will be     able to choose only one centre for stage II & III. Once you select the centre no     change in the same will be allowed under any circumstances whatsoever.
6. After confirmation of the centre, you should download and print the “Invitation for     appearing for Stage II & III” and the instructions sheet.
7. Please book your journey tickets in advance to avoid last minute rush / discomfort     to travel to the location of the centre where you will be appearing for Stage II & III      of the selection process.

Stage II & III for DWiMC course From July 28, 2008 and August 01, 2008

1. Please go through the instruction sheet attached with the “Invitation for     appearing for Stage II & III” carefully.
2. Appear for stage II & III as per details given in the “Invitation for appearing for     Stage II & III” and the instructions sheet attached to the same.
3. After successful completion of stage II and III of selection process you will get     offer of confirmed admission. Some of the candidates may be kept in waitlist.

Waitlist Declaration
C-DAC shall process the waitlist and offer admission based on seats available at individual centre based on percentile score.

Last Date of payment of second installment of course fees of Rs. 63,500 /-

1. For DAC course: on or before 1700 hrs on August 11, 2008
2. For DWiMC course: on or before 1700 hrs on August 18, 2008

DAC Course Conclusion : February 07, 2008

WiMC Course Commencement : August 25, 2008

WiMC Course Conclusion : February 14, 2008
